Steve has over 30 years in the financial services industry, beginning his career as a Financial Advisor in 1983. He is a 1978 graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with Bachelor of Science degrees in both Journalism and Physics as well as a 1986 graduate of Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, MO with a Juris Doctor degree.
As a LPL Financial Advisor, Steve delivers individualized financial plans to address each client’s needs based on his or her unique situation. He often encourages clients to include family members and/or adult children in meetings for seamless generational planning. Clients appreciate Steve’s strong listening skills and his ability to communicate complex financial plans in relatable terms that are easy to understand.
Steve and his wife, Deb, have one daughter, Kate. He stays involved in the community and has served as board member of many organizations over the years. Steve currently serves as a member of the Livingston County Mental Health Board and Dwight Common School District Board of Education. He enjoys travelling, reading and volunteering at Sugar Grove Nature Center.
